New additions:
-Stainless steel sink, found at a salvage yard, $25
-Two inch wood oak flooring also found in the salvage yard, $25
-Double pained glass door with fir trim and dark stain, $30
-Two door, 4 cubic feet refrigerator/freezer with stainless steel doors, $170
-Instant hot water heater, found in the salvage yard, $10
I recently bought a stainless steel sink, oak hardwood floors and an instant hot water heater to his tiny house. All of these were found at a salvage yard and cost $60 total. I also acquired a door from the same yard, a double paned glass door with dark stained fir trim, for $30. My 4 cubic foot freezer/refrigerator stores Gatorade for the hot days in the tiny house.
I am looking forward to adding a stove oven and sanding and staining my wood floor soon. However these big projects cannot be done without support and help from my followers.
Me tiny house was recently featured in Sonoma County's Press Democrat (front page story) and is in the process of scheduling interviews with The Travel Channel and eco-company. The Press Democrat story can be found here: http://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/20110721/ARTICLES/110729885?p=1&tc=pg
